Message at the ceremony in Phoenix Arizona deleivered byTim
Roemer Deputy Director of the Arizona Department of Homeland Security Public
Safety Policy Advisor to Governor Ducey: "As we stand here in front of our
historic flag on this beautiful warm day, I am reminded of our nation's motto,
"E Pluribus Unum." Which is Latin for, "Out of many, one." Out of many
states, we come together as one country with 50 stars on our flag symbolizing
not only the different states we come from, but the different cities, cultures,
and backgrounds of our citizens. But regardless of any differences, we
always come together to unite as one. We never forget what happened on 9/11,
because we will never forget the way we stood together in the face of adversity
to come together as one nation and defeat our enemy."
